What is SW4G?
SW4G stands for Song Writer for Guitarists. It's a Java desktop application for song-writer guitarists to use when composing music. It makes song writing quick, easy, and convenient.
Who is it intended for?
SW4G is intended for all guitarists needing to match chords with lyrics or simply wanting to remember chord progressions. It's basically a digital song pad. It allows you to spend more time being creative and less time worrying about how to record your ideas onto paper!
Who is developing it and why?
SW4G is being developed by, Barney Marispini of Solarbox, a fellow song-writer guitarist who understands how frustrating it can be to get your ideas onto paper. Software shouldn't get in the way of creativity.
When will it be ready for public consumption?
SW4G is still in the beginning stages of development. Unfortunately, it's difficult to give a timeline when all programming happens on my personal free time (of which there isn't a lot of). I'm committed to finishing it as it's something I've wanted and needed for quite a long time.
